The groomer is designed for regular and frequent care that is friendly to your
lawn. A reel mower cuts the lawn horizontally, the groomer cuts the grass 
vertically. It shortens horizontally growing grass blades like quack grass and several weed varieties. The Groomer can also be used for dethatching. As a result, the grass is stimulated to grow vertically. 
Regular usage of the groomer cartridge helps you achieve an evenly growing, dense, and homogeneous lawn. 

The blades of the groomer should only slightly touch the soil of the lawn – the depth should be between 0 and 2 mm. Operate the groomer at maximum reel speed.

The groomer’s blades are subject to normal wear and tear. It is not uncommon to catch a small pebble of piece of wood between the blades. Care needs to be taken before removing the trapped pieces. Blades can be replaced after excessive wear or loss of original function. 

The Groomer Cartridge is designed and manufactured for years of tough service. The blades, cover and support brackets are laser cut from steel sheet. The shaft cut, turned and finished. All parts are inspected, racked and run through our degreasing machine, then Powder coated by hand. Then cured and baked a temperature to ensure a tough and durable finish. Hand Assembled and labeled with a Serial number. Our Cartridges are completely manufactured at our Factory.
